An ivory netsuke depicting a monkey crouching on a rock. The face, vivid and expressive, is inlaid with horn eyes.
The fur and limbs are finely carved with delicate lines and meticulous attention to detail.
The himotoshi is carved beneath the base and exits on the side of the rock.
