"little Families" Box Set: Three Small Books From The Romantic Era, 1842
Full of charm and in a romantic spirit, these three small books, collected under the title "Les Petites Familles" (Little Families), contain several short stories intended to educate and guide Catholic youth on the right path. Each book, about fifteen pages long, opens with a small engraving illustrating a theme from the story. The stories are aimed primarily at young girls, which explains the pink, sky blue, and yellow bindings. There are traces of dampness. Published by A. Marcilly, Bookseller at 10 rue Saint Jacques in Paris, in 1842.
