Pair Of Large Haute époque Candlesticks
Pair of large, early period bronze candlesticks, cast and turned on a lathe.
Superb and rare model dating from the late 16th/early 17th century. A complex stem, composed of balusters and rings, rises from a circular, profiled base of substantial diameter (16.3 cm), terminating in a tall socket pierced on the opposite side by two small openings.
In very good condition with a superb patina.
