"Victorian Scottish Brooch "
The fashion for Scottish jewelry spread in the mid-19th century, fueled by Queen Victoria's passion for it during her stays at Balmoral. Made of gold or silver, these pieces are adorned with stones from the Cairngorm, a wild region known for its crystals. Granite is even used in some pieces. A repertoire of traditional shapes is represented, such as this ring, set in silver and decorated with polished colored stones. In very good original condition.
