"Bronze Fireplace Mantel Bar, Greyhound Design, Early 19th Century "

A very beautiful bronze fireplace mantel bar, early 19th century, model "with reclining greyhounds." The object is composed of two lateral elements surmounted by a reclining dog with crossed paws, and a central section, slightly curved and adorned with a bar. The whole is joined by a system of sliding and clamping mechanisms visible on the reverse. Height approximately 17.5 cm, width approximately 95.5 cm. The object is in good condition, with some stains and oxidation consistent with age.
