"Grey Lacquered Living Room Directoire Period 18th Century 6 Armchairs And 1 Sofa "
Very beautiful living room part, in pearl gray lacquered wood, Directoire period, end of the 18th century, model called "with inverted backrest", armrests decorated with columns, still in the stylistic vocabulary of the Louis XVI period. Set composed of 6 armchairs and 1 sofa with 7 legs, together covered in silk with a pink background and grisaille patterns. Set in very good condition, note however some wear and stains on the fabric, restorations of use, lacquer chips, 1 rear leg of the sofa redone, the front leg to be reattached (on the central crosspiece). Dimensions for 1 armchair: height 87 cm, width 55 cm, depth 49 cm. Sofa: height 98 cm, width 171 cm, depth 60 cm.
