Original work, sold with the frame. "Passage du commerce, rue St André des Arts" 23/08/43 N°2089 located and dated by the artist on the back of the drawing. Charles BETOUT (1869-1945) is a French theater costume designer, collaborator of Charles Bianchini, he designed the costumes of the Paris Opera from 1905 to 1907 and was then head costume designer of the Comédie Française between 1919 and 1939.
