Very beautiful work by the Swiss artist Samuel BIRMANN (1793-1847). This is a color aquatint signed lower left and measuring: - 16.5 x 22 cm (subject). - 20 x 23.5 cm (view). - 35 x 39 cm (frame). The work is titled at the bottom in the middle: "Chamonix seen from the Col de Balme" and is presented in its very elegant period frame.
