Art Deco Period Console/game Table
Artist: Krass
Console/game table attributed to Krass from the Art Deco period. The geometry of the line is enhanced by the finesse of the legs. The cut-off pant shape of the belt and the top reveals the cubism of the Art Deco period. The top includes in the center the cube decoration framed on a mahogany net enhanced by a counter grain, all enhanced by the solid mahogany molding. We find this same cube decoration on the cut pants of the belt. The movable part of the back is in mahogany. The sliding with tongue-reign reveals all the attention to detail of the cabinetmaker. The interior includes its original felt mat framed in counter grain. The sheathed legs are fine and harmonious. Even the bronze sabots are custom-made. Rare and unique piece. Delivery possible not included in the price.
