Crossbow-shaped chest of drawers in solid walnut opening with three large molded drawers. The curved fronts are decorated with handles and keyholes in chiseled bronze with symmetrical patterns. The rounded uprights end with volute feet. The top, slightly overhanging, has a molded outline emphasizing the line of the piece of furniture. French work from the Louis XIV period, early 18th century. Condition: Small loss on one drawer (see photo). Presence of old insect bites, stabilized. Wear consistent with the age of the piece of furniture.
