Italian Cinquedea Dagger From The 8th To The 19th Century
This very desirable cinquedea dagger is in a fine state, it was probably manufactured the north of Italy.
These types of dagger are by far the rarest type and highly sought after with originals reaching $30 k +.
The hilt is comprised of a beautiful spiral pattern that follows throughout the fittings. The pommel is rounded with a wheel engraved on either side, the grip has very nice accent of copper / bronze with ferrules and also accents extending down the grip.
The dagger has a unusual designed double edge with a diamond cross- section and nice patina.
