"Bronze And Ceramic Lamp, 19th Century"
Lamp whose shaft, resting on a marble and gilded bronze base, is made up of a painted ceramic part set in a patinated and gilded bronze mount whose lower part is decorated with a putto sitting astride a dolphin and lifting a cornucopia. The ceramic part includes a gallant scene in the 18th century style representing a young man courting an elegant young woman at the bottom of a staircase, in a wooded landscape. A hexagonal beige lampshade with fringes overhangs the lamp.
