Charming vase by Ernest Barrias "Putti with wicker basket", founder Ferdinand Barbedienne. All the charm of an era with this finely chiseled bronze of a putti walking with a large wicker basket. The medal patina is perfect and well preserved. Look at the quality of the face and all the small details of the piece. Piece doubly signed "E. Barrias" and "F.Barbedienne Fondeur" on the edge of the terrace. There are many copies of this model. This one is authentic, period and perfect. 14.5 cm high. Truly a charming art-nouveau piece.
