Large Art Nouveau Bowl With Japanese Influences, Made Of Kg Lunéville Porcelain, Circa 1890, In Perfect Condition, Formerly In The Galle-daum Collection

A very pretty and original Lunéville earthenware bowl with a Japanese-style fan-shaped design.

A truly charming piece shaped like a large, unfolded fan, featuring a rich decoration of insects, butterflies, stars, flowers, and dragons—typical of the Japanese-inspired Art Nouveau style that was in vogue in the 1890s. Beautifully crafted, the piece is accented with gold, which enhances its overall elegance. It is reminiscent of the ceramics by Gallé, with whom Keller and Guerin collaborated in Saint-Clément.

40 cm long, 25 cm wide—this is a large piece.
In perfect condition. The crowned coat of arms with “K+G LUNEVILLE” in blue underglaze is the stamp used by K and G from 1832 to around 1900. This piece can be dated to around 1890.
The number next to the signature is the mold/decor number.
