Silver-plated bronze mountings.
Pommel with foliage crown and fleur-de-lis on the base.
Joint arch entirely chiselled with floral motifs and lion's head.
Ebony crossguard with checkered pattern.
Symmetrical double-wrapped supralateral guard with fleurs-de-lis, engraved in the centre with the arms of France in a crowned circle, all within a hunting motif; decorated with an oak branch on the left and a laurel branch on the right.
Blade with a central fuller, engraved and blued in the first third with beams of arms and gilded floral motifs.
Leather scabbard, silver-plated bronze chape, pommel chiselled with a palmette.
