Antique umbrella. The cream silk canvas has been replaced with a similar one, so this umbrellais in excellent condition and can be used. It has a lovely carved bone handle. A metal ring allows it to be folded in half for storage or to make it easier to get into a carriage. It measures 22,44 inches long when closed and approximately 19,68 inchesin diameter when open. France, circa 1850.
