Mule Collar With Bells
We have just acquired this exceptional mule collar with bells and with the small brass plate which could be a corporation plate? In any case it originally comes from Haute Loire where the muleteers left from this place to go to Ardèche and sometimes to Nîmes or the surrounding area. Unfortunately it is missing the muleteer plate which was displayed on the head of the mule, I had a few, three if my memory serves me well and they sold for quite high prices, they were brass, engraved and often very dented.
