The sheath has a beadwork framing a scraper decoration enriched with lambrequins.
This decoration is topped with a garland of stylized foliage and fruit around a sculpted oval. On this sheath is placed a heavily molded base which receives a shallow cup.
Worked on all sides, it certainly fit into the park of a beautiful property.
19th century work in the Louis XIV style.
Good general condition; note some accidents and lack of use (see photos).
