Fragment of a terracotta altarpiece depicting the Crucifixion on a palm leaf decoration. Beautiful remains of polychromy on this element which appears to be the right part of an altarpiece decoration. This type of sculpture can be compared to the terracottas produced in the Maine region and still visible in many churches in this region.
Good general condition.
Work from the late 17th or early 18th century.
