Large covered potiche with mottled blue enamelled background, and decorated with an eagle enamelled black and gold enamel; signed Montières. In a perfect state; very slight wear when grasping the lid. The manufacture of Montières (1917-1933), in Picardy, entrusted to Guy Arnoux (active in Montières from 1921 to 1923), illustrator and draftsman, the realization of this vase under the direction of the chief designer Maurice Dudicourt.
