"Mid-19th Century Ebony Writing Table With Inlays"
This refined rectangular writing table of modest size is made of carved and ebonized wood, with bone inlay decorations. The table features turned legs, joined in the center by four scrolled joints that terminate in a turned element. The top and underside feature highly refined neo-Renaissance inlays, including geometric and floral designs, as well as landscape and figure depictions, the latter pyrographed. The table also features a drawer on the front for storing small items. This table exudes great taste and elegance, capable of furnishing any space with refinement. Italian craftsmanship attributable to the Milanese workshop of cabinetmaker Ferdinando Pogliani, dating back to the mid-19th century.
