Settled in France in 1946, student of Andre Lhote and Fernand Leger, he was known for his geometric abstraction in the 50s, and then from 1955, known for his figurative paintings inspired by Matisse and Pascin; entitled "les iles" made in Djerba between 1974 and 1976.
