Rare box or covered pot in solid silver, French customs control hallmark with a swan (tested touchstone), work from the Maghreb, most likely Tunisia, late 19th century, early 20th century, perhaps for the Ottoman market. In the shape of a stylized flower resting on 3 feet, a frieze engraved with scrolls in the center, the domed lid decorated with birds surrounding a pink coral pearl. 482 grams approximately 20cm high, good condition, small scratches from use, any questions welcome.
