Art Nouveau blue and green glazed stoneware planter inspired by plants, with acanthus leaf-shaped handles. Claudet signature under the planter. France, Salins les bains, circa 1900-1910.

Georges Max Claudet (1882-1970), son of the sculptor Max Claudet, studied at the Arts Décoratifs and the Beaux Arts in Paris, then returned to the Jura to devote himself to ceramics and the art of flamed stoneware.
