An elegant officer's sword, late 18th century (circa 1770–1790), probably French or Austrian Netherlands.
Brass mount with finely cast double-shell guard and twisted wire filigree grip.
Pommel richly decorated with Rococo helmet and foliage motifs. Light, three-sided blade etched with military trophies, laurel wreaths, and antique helmets.
No visible marks, but typical style of continental production (probably Solingen blade for the French or Liège market).
