High-quality modernist cache-pot crafted in patinated brass, handmade fired enamel (cobalt blue and orange/red tones) and teak, with an oak inner base.
The upper brass band features a decorative hammered finish, deliberately contrasted with a smoother lower band.
Carefully engineered tie-rod construction with a visible decorative brass rosette beneath the base, standing on three solid turned brass ball feet.
The enamel panels display rich depth of colour and subtle irregularities consistent with traditional hand enamelling.
A fine example of Western European modernist workshop production, characteristic of the transition from late Art Deco to early post-war modernism.
