Pair Of Miniature Training Pistols, Liège
A pair of very small 19th-century miniature pistols, made of metal finely engraved with floral motifs and featuring white-material grips. The mechanisms are functional. One of the pistols bears an “LG” hallmark, associated with Liège. The set comes with several small accessories and is presented in a blackened wooden box with gold and red decoration, lined with blue velvet. This type of miniature work could have served as a master’s piece, intended to demonstrate the gunsmith’s technical skill and precision.
