"Large Art Deco Period Psyche Mirror, France, 1920s"
Here is a large psyche-type mirror of French manufacture circa 1920. This spectacular model is emblematic of a refined and luxurious Art Deco style. This mirror, probably original, with its wide bevel is set in a lyre in stained elm burl veneer and held by two bronze pieces. It is supported by a curved two-level base covered with a rare Karelian curly birch veneer, a very expensive wood reserved for high-quality and high-value productions. The mirror part is tilting, which allows you to see yourself at your full height whatever your height. This rare piece of furniture has been completely restored although it was in a remarkable state of conservation and repolished with a traditional buffer. Here is a magnificent piece likely to furnish a bedroom, a dressing room, an entrance hall, a fashion boutique, etc.
