Thibaud WEISZ known as Thibaud (1910-2005), important sculpture in cast aluminum, unique piece signed. Circa 1970/80. Height 64cm x 31 x 22cm. "The Black Tower" exhibition at the Salon des Grands et Jeunes d'Aujourd'hui in 1988 and 1997. Coming from a family of artisans and a decorator upon his arrival in Paris in 1928, Thibaud first explored non-figurative painting associated with the Paris school to finally devote himself to metal sculpture, particularly on aluminum. His work, influenced by Bauhaus and Constructivism, develops a geometric abstraction. He exhibited regularly in Paris from 1968 (Galerie La Roue, G. Bongers, Yves Brun, Anne Lavenier, etc.) and participated in all the major Parisian Salons. He described a post-industrial universe, populated by "machine-sculptures".
