"Abstract Cast Alloy Sculptures By H. Schlüter"
Cast aluminium abstract cubic and brutalist sculptures from german artist Helmut Schlüter. Different sizes heights between 19cm and 10cm, width between 14.5 cm and 10cm. This artist received numerous commissions for monumental sculptures in major German cities. I present a set of models found in his workshop and made between 1965 and 1985. Most have a label. Many pieces are worked with acid to obtain striking patinas. On others the artist has added fragments of marble during the cast that he polished to obtain marble surfaces.
