Interesting Geometr Instrument, Set Square & Protractor, Brass, Early 19th Century Or Earlier

Very interesting item, curious, a beautiful geometry instrument. Taking the form of a square, graduated, it is equipped with an integrated protractor, and a shape showing the different angles in part openwork. 5 small holes add complexity to the device, surely used for compass tracings.. Antique numbering, curious item, genuine !
Good general condition, some traces of oxidation that I did not dare to clean by fear of removing the original patina. A little bit of wax in the right angle..
European working probably French, dating from the beginning of the 19th century, or earlier.. Dimensions: 40x29x20.5cm
