Children’s Rocking Horse – Early 20th Century
Charming children’s rocking horse made of wood and hand-painted, dating from the early 20th century. The horse, mounted on a curved wooden base, retains much of its original polychrome decoration, with lovely signs of wear that attest to its authenticity and age.Naïve in style, it depicts a galloping horse with saddle and harness painted in blue, yellow and red tones. The aged patina and craquelure in the paint add great antique charm.
