"China – Cylindrical Mug - 18th Century - Quianlong Period (1736-1795)"
Rare and large porcelain and polychrome enamel mug of the "famille rose". Its decoration, called "mandarin palette" of two Chinese and four dogs hunting in a landscape near a palace, in a circular reserve bordered by a green border. Very beautiful handle formed of 2 interlaced braids, frieze of gold Greek on the upper edge and finished with floral attachments. The upper edge is decorated with a frieze of golden Greek, a red band and 3 polychrome bands. The white part of the mug is decorated with small golden motifs. Very good condition (2 small firing defects on the handle). QUIAN LONG period (1736-1795). Dimensions: height: 15 cm, diameter: 12 cm
