Napoleon III Glove Box In Mother-of-pearl And Brass Marquetry – 19th Century
Napoleon III period glove box, curved shape, made of rosewood and richly decorated with geometric marquetry composed of brass threads, ebony and mother-of-pearl triangles. The front and sides are curved, the top is domed. Interior is in varnished elm veneer, original lock and key which works. Bronze key head. Restored in our workshop.
