Silver Pill Box, Germany Hanau Around 1900
Oval-shaped embossed silver box with a flat bottom. The hinged lid represents three dancing putti in a rococo surround and hanging flowers. The naked bodies of the Putti struck by the light stand out from the background with a beautiful volumetric effect. The body is decorated with flower stems and rocaille scrolls. Antique style.
