Pencil drawing "The hunter at rest and his dog). Work by Dupain signed lower left. Painter born in Bordeaux in 1847 and died in Paris in 1933. Student of Cabanel and Gué. Debuted at the Salon in 1870. Member of the French Artists since 1883. Awarded at the Universal Exhibition of 1875 and 1877. Bronze medal in 1889. Painted the ceiling of the Paris observatory.
