Ladies' Cylinder Desk, Charles X Period, With The Bourbon Coat Of Arms, 19th Century.
Lady's desk, Charles X period, with the Arms of the Bourbons, circa 1830, 19th century. This elegant little cylinder desk that we are presenting opens on the front with two mirrored doors on the upper part and two small drawers on the lower part. It rests on four rudentés of brass fillets and finished with tops. On the cylinder the Arms of the Bourbons and at the corners four fleurs-de-lis. The interior is provided with two boxes. The wood used is mahogany decorated with a beautiful bronze and brass trim. An orange marble completes the decoration. In good general condition, (a missing brass rod and damaged marble) Royal collection by descent. Dimensions: h.140 cm x h.top.75 cm x d.45.5 cm x l.82 cm.
