Ottoman saber called pala - Ottoman Empire, 18th-19th century. Curved single-edged blade with T-section back. The blade is of good quality. Handle made of two horn plates and a guard probably made of tin. Wooden scabbard covered with tin sheet (?). Scabbard in poor condition (many accidents and missing parts). Length 86cm. Length without scabbard 82.5cm. Blade length 68cm. Weight 1565gr. Weight without scabbard 780gr.
