Miniature representing the portrait of a young queen or princess dressed in the fashion of the 17th century, under Louis XIII or Louis XIV, in a rich dress decorated with red ribbons and a very wide lace collar. Jewels adorn her neck, ears and headdress and thus underline her high rank in society. It is made in gouache, carefully framed in noble material and blackened wood. It bears a signature on the right that I cannot decipher. It has not been opened. Total size: 10.50 cm x 9.50 cm.
