This beautiful nude of a young woman, with sensual curves and wide hips, evokes the elegant women of the early 20th century. Her body, sculpted from the knees down, rests on a sort of mound, her head turned to the side, emphasizing opulent hair. The generous thighs, the slightly rounded stomach and the small breasts are those of a young woman, with a perfect body, inspiring both desire and sweetness. Amedeo Gennarelli is truly the champion of femininity, he was born in 1881 in Naples and is a sculptor of the Art Deco period, a student of Francesco Jerace. In 1909 he moved to Paris, his female nudes are renowned, he exhibited from 1913 at the Salons of the Société des Artistes Français, and regularly presented his works there until 1936.
