Belgian painter born in Turnhout in 1869 and died in Antwerp in 1949.
He studied at the Antwerp Academy and mainly painted: landscapes, religious scenes, female figures, symbolist compositions. He exhibited in numerous salons in Belgium and his works are featured in Belgian museums. Post-impressionist style, sometimes symbolist, with a marked personal touch.
