Large Framed Watercolor Drawing
We present this large framed drawing sheet, from the Neo-Classical period. Our drawing is located in Rome below the Villa d'Este (Tivoli fountain), its period for us is between 1780 and 1800, at the height of this period. In 1810 the decline began with the arrival of Neo-Classicalism, this period of Neo-Classicalism appeared around 1750, in the Europe of the Enlightenment. Our drawing has not been unframed, it is as we acquired it, in its original state. Very nice enhanced drawing with in the foreground two women dressed as under the Empire. Very good condition.
