Oil On Framed Panel
We present this small rectangular painting, framed oil on panel, painting treated in the impressionist manner by an artist named Léonce PELLETIER born in 1869 and died in 1950. He followed the Beaux Arts course in Dijon with companions such as Lippe, Bonotte and Bouchard. With his notoriety he returned to Gustave Moreau with Edgard Maxence and Matisse as classmates. He was appointed professor at the School of Fine Arts in Nice in 1904 and director of the municipal drawing school in 1909. He ended his career in Nice. (E23) Ref. ..............TA105
