Short saber Aghan called khyber - Afghanistan, Pashtun, 19th centuryHandle made of bone and horn plates and brass mount. Single-edged blade and T-section spine. Wooden scabbard covered with leather, animal skin and a large chiseled brass rivet. Former German private collection. Collected in situ in the early 1970s. One of the bone plates has a slight play because the top rivet is missing. Accidents and losses to the leather and animal skin of the scabbard. Cracks in the wood of the scabbard at the upper part.
