Magnificent and important silver watch, double case by James Weldon in London, circa 1740.
Champlevé silver dial, with Roman numerals for the hours, and Arabic numerals for the minutes, Louis XV hands in gilded brass, Superb movement in gilded brass, with verge escapement, fusee chain, very beautiful cock and plate entirely decorated with flowers and foliage.
First plain silver case, and second, entirely decorated with flowers and foliage,
Perfect mechanical and aesthetic condition, despite its almost three centuries.
