Rare very small baluster-shaped alcohol PITCHER in pewter with oblique pedestal, flared throat and stick thumb.
Control hallmark affixed to the inside of the foot: CC crowned / 61 / R. (CC for Etain Commun, 61 for 1761 and R for ROUEN)
Height: 9.8 cm.

This often allows us to precisely date the objects that bear itIn very good conditionGenerally speaking, the pitchers were the wine measures of the Ancien Régime but these very small gauges were used to gauge the alcohol; given their small size and function, they were misplaced and produced in limited numbers.
