Napoléon III Pendant-Brooch
In three tones of 18k gold, centered with a medallion adorned with a bouquet and engraved friezes. A delicate gold wire punctuated with small flowers highlights the contour, extended by a matching bail.
On the reverse, the removable bail reveals a pin, allowing the jewel to be worn as a brooch.
Work from the second half of the 19th century.
Preserved in a small box bearing the label: “Le Lorrain, 34 av. Louise, Brussels.”

Condition:
Very good overall condition. Tiny deformation at the back on the bail attachment system. The chasing work is finely executed, the use of three colors of gold greatly enhances the model. The reverse system is ingenious, well-made, and the mark of a fine workshop.
