Made of silver, this decoration takes the form of an eight-pointed star composed of finely worked diamond-shaped rays with openwork detailing. At its center, a gold cartouche encloses an enameled medallion depicting the coat of arms of Cambodia on a blue background: two stacked offering bowls support a sword and two crossed spears. Above them, the royal crown of Cambodia sits prominently, while radiating olive branches frame the composition. A red enamel border encircles the medallion. The star is topped with a royal crown and suspended from a first-type ribbon, red with green edges.
France, late 19th century.
