Here is a superb floor lamp, shape inspired by antique, resting on an eagle's leg with golden talons. Body of lamp is in bronze, cast and chiseled, it is Roman oil lamp like, handle in shape of an eagle's head, a lion mask in relief on plate.
This plate is signed by inventor, around the filling vent, it is N°321, as visible in our photos.
The oil spout opens with a bronze pull.
Above the combustion surface, adjustable by screw in height, a bronze alcohol sphere, with adjustable valve and screw cap, and its bent spout so that the gas from the alcohol brought to a boil activates flame.
Object from end of 18th century, a museum piece!

Condition: not quite perfect, some patina wear, foot to tighten, a broken claw tip on foot.
