Grey silk embroidered in petit-point with a background of blue and white clouds. In the center, a bird in flight looks at a sun embroidered in red. The bird is probably a pheasant, which is sewn in gold thread. The pheasant badge was worn by civil dignitaries of the 7th rank. Chinese work from the 19th century. No loss or repair, silk background torn in several places visible in photos. On the reverse, the initials of the former collector: Th L302x272mm
